A safe place to pause, reflect, and flow forward.
Welcome
Most of us long to live a good life - a life that feels full, meaningful, and truly our own. And yet, there are times when the current shifts.
We can find ourselves pulled into deeper waters – into places of confusion, isolation, or quiet struggle. At other times, life may feel dry and distant, as though we’ve lost touch with something essential within us.
These are natural parts of being human.
But you don’t have to navigate them alone.
At River of Life Therapies, my intention is to walk beside you – to help you slow down, listen inwardly, and gently make sense of what you’re experiencing. Together, we can build awareness, honour your emotional needs, and reconnect with your own inner guidance.
Like a river, your life has its own direction, rhythm, and wisdom. Therapy is a space to rediscover that flow – and find a way of living that feels more balanced, grounded, and alive.
You are welcome here.
And you don’t have to do this on your own.
If this resonates, I invite you to get in touch.
About Me
I’m currently in my fourth year of studying Holistic Psychotherapy with the Connection Culture Institute. My path into this work hasn’t been linear – and that’s part of what I value most about it.
2023 — I was part of the first cohort
2024 — I continued postgraduate masterclasses and supervision
2025 — I supported the next group of students as a part-time mentor
2026 — I have chosen to return again with a beginner’s mind – revisiting the training as a novice and deepening my learning in a whole new way.
This ongoing journey continues to shape how I show up: with curiosity, care and a deep respect for each person’s unique experience. I offer a space where you can slow down, feel what’s present, and begin to reconnect with your own inner guidance – at your own pace.
Free 50 minute sessions
As part of my training, I’m currently offering free 50 minute sessions. These sessions are supported by regular supervision and are a valuable part of my learning.
If you’re feeling the pull for support, or simply curious about what this space could offer you, you’re very welcome to reach out.
You don’t have to do it all on your own.
What is Holistic Psychotherapy?
Holistic Psychotherapy is an invitation to step gently into the river of your own experience.
As taught by the Connection Culture Institute, the work is grounded, compassionate and guided by curiosity. It is held within the quiet strength of connection – a space where nothing about you needs to be rushed or forced. Here, we recognise the whole of who you are: mind, body, heart and spirit – each like currents in the same living stream.
To be human can sometimes feel bewildering, like being carried by waters we don’t fully understand. Beneath this, there is often a longing to feel safe, to feel seen, and to make meaning of the journey. In this work, safety and connection form the riverbanks that hold and support you.
You are offered a confidential, non-judgemental space – a place where you can simply be as you are. Our therapeutic relationship is built on care and attunement, meeting you exactly where you find yourself in the moment of your life’s flow.
What to expect
Sessions are a space where we step into the river together.
Listen
We begin by gently listening to the waters of your experience.
Understand
I will reflect back what I hear, ensuring I understand the shape and movement of what you bring.
Explore
From there, we begin to explore together – noticing patterns, narratives and the currents that may have been shaping your path beneath the surface.
All sessions are collaborative.
We walk alongside one another, bringing gentle clarity to what lies beneath, allowing space for insight, integration, and change to emerge naturally.
The unfolding takes time. Like a river carving its way through land, awareness deepens gradually over sessions.
Whatever you bring, and wherever you find yourself along your river, you are welcome here.
I look forward to being with you.

Each session lasts around 50 minutes, though no two are ever the same – because no two rivers, and no two people, are the same.
They are usually held via Zoom, though phone sessions are also available if that feels more comfortable.
-
The first session often focuses on gathering the story of where you are, beginning to build trust, and allowing the waters to settle. We may include simple practices such as breathwork or guided visualisation – moments of stillness that help you reconnect with your own inner flow.

To support you the best way I can, I regularly meet with an experienced therapist to reflect on my work. This is called supervision and it is a normal part of professional therapy practice.
Supervision gives me space to think carefully about how I am supporting you and to continue learning and developing as a therapist. Your privacy is always protected, and no identifying details are shared.
This helps me provide you with thoughtful, ethical and high quality care
“An individual human existence should be like a river – small at first, narrowly contained in its banks, and rushing passionately past rocks and over waterfalls. Gradually the river grows wider, the banks recede, the water flows more quietly, and in the end, without any visible break, they become merged in the sea, and painlessly lose their individual being.”
— Bertrand Russell
